Residential Interior Design from the Inside Out: Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes from the inside out. Built-in furniture, long horizontal lines, natural wood and stone, and light drawn deep into the rooms made each house feel rooted in its place and shaped around the life within it.

This understanding of the private home guides the residential interior design of DÉMARTISTUDIO in Berlin and Limassol. A Berlin Altbau with its high ceilings asks for a different answer than a villa above the Mediterranean, yet both begin with the same questions: where the light falls, how the family gathers, which materials will age with grace.

For DÉMARTISTUDIO, Wright's legacy is less a style than an attitude: a residence should feel inevitable, as if it could not have been designed any other way.
